Add Mailing DNS records to point your domain to Quickpost Server

 

THE DEFAULT URL to access mails in the browser: Quickpost.app

NOTE: There will be no custom URL now above will be the default URL.

 

Step 1: Add 2 MX records and TXT record:

Record Type: MX

Priority: 0

Host Name: @

TTL: 600

Destination: mx.quickpost.app

 

Record Type: MX

Priority: 10

Host Name: @

TTL: 600

Destination: mx2.quickpost.app

 

Create TXT Record:

Host: @

TXT Name: @

TXT Value: v=spf1 include:spf.quickpost.app ~all

TTL: 600

Step 2: Autodiscover setup below settings should be configured in the Domain DNS zone to configure (MS outlook on the machine automatically)

NOTE: If you want to set up outlook then you will need to FIRST set up the below records and let us know via ticket or chat, so we can create binding for the same on the server end.

 

Create CName record:

Record Type: CNAME

Host: autodiscover.example.com   (please replace example.com with the your domain)

TTL: 600

Destination: quickpost.app

 

Create SRV Record:

Domain: @

Service: _Autodiscover

Protocol: _tcp

Priority: 0

Weight: 0

Port: 443
